John Brown

Bears Law is a native of Central Kentucky; a graduate of Western Kentucky University, summa cum laude, Class of 1970; the University of Kentucky College of Law, Class of 1973;

Preparatory Education includes graduation from the Defense Language Institute West Coast Branch at Monterey, California (1965) (German); The Goethe Institute, (Advanced Studies, German Language and Culture) West Berlin, FDR (1968); as well as several Military Intelligence Schools and Courses. Military Service from September, 1964 – September, 1968, Honorably discharged with the rank of Intelligence Specialist (E-6). Awarded among other Service Medals the Army Commendation Medal, for Meritorious Achievement for actions of the night of February 19, 1966.
